The Journey of Self Discovery - Inspired from the Hindi movie Queen

It was in March 2011 that i decided to embark on this journey...okay let me not exaggerate.. this little getaway trip that i needed so bad.. ALONE. Yes i repeat.. ALONE. This trip was the best thing that ever happened in my life second to graduating with a degree of course =D. I started getting so frustrated.. all the Hoo Haa about needing a Degree... for me a Degree was always just a piece of paper.. to thrive we all know we need the EXPERIENCE + KNOWLEDGE to survive in almost any given work field.

So i started my first job in May 2010 as a Food & Beverage Coordinator in a 4 star hotel in Tanjung Bungah... i had the opinion that whoaaa this job its gonna be fun.. i'm gonna be jollying with a lot "Food" and "Beverages" of course.. But no.. i was slapped by reality. A fresh graduate with Zero working experience..in a line where all management level staff mostly started off from below... the Food & Beverage Manager could be a waiter at one point of his life to be sitting in that chair. What was i? Yes i went to school for 3 additional years.. maybe just 3 years more than them... but they have experience of over 30 years more than me. My Degree was not wholly recognized in this line.. i worked long hours even on weekends.. juggling the despair of having to deal with an ill mother alone.. my first salary which was all gone in a wink of an eye just to pay all the debts.. car-study-insurance-petrol-internet- and the other miscellaneous that constantly keeps mushrooming in every corner of my daily routine.

Almost a year passed, i was re-designated to the Human Resources Department. I gained first hand insight finally got to deal with Immigration procedures for the Indonesian trainees every 6 months. After some weeks i decided it was time for me to go for some soul searching. So i decided to take a 2 weeks trip to Rajasthan, India. I arrived to New Delhi and did a little exploring... New Delhi is such a great metropolitan city.. they had great places to hang out.. i particularly enjoyed Cannought Place, Delhi.. there were so many outlets which sold just about everything one needed.. and of course the infamous Delhi street vendors from the Chaiwala right up to the Chaat guy!
